About the Radar Data

This radar display uses NEXRAD Level 3 data from the KMHX weather station in Newport, NC. The data is updated approximately every 5 minutes and covers the Eastern North Carolina coastal region.

Animation: Use the time slider to view radar evolution over the past 2 hours, or click the play button to animate through all available frames.

Layers: Switch between different radar products using the settings menu (⚙️) to view precipitation intensity, wind patterns, and accumulation data.
