GOES-19 is the latest geostationary weather satellite operated by NOAA. It provides continuous monitoring of weather patterns over the Americas with advanced imaging capabilities.

🌎 Coverage Area

This view shows the Southeast sector covering Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and parts of the Atlantic Ocean. Images are updated approximately every 5 minutes during normal operations.

Data Source & Processing

Images are sourced from NOAA STAR GOES-19 ABI Southeast GEOCOLOR. Original images (2400×2400px) are automatically cropped to focus on the southeastern coastal region (1400×1200px) to reduce file sizes and improve loading times while maintaining the area of interest for weather monitoring.
